• Decreases the minimum guaranteed mileage weight tax for trailers in two weight classes: from $175 to $135 for 14,000 lbs. or less (Class ME) and from $235 to $195 for 14,001 to 20,000 lbs. (Class MF).

• Reduces flat weight tax rates for farm trailers across multiple weight categories, including: 10,000 lbs. or less from $160 to $85 (Class VDD), 10,001 to 14,000 lbs. from $206 to $156 (Class VDE), and 14,001 to 20,000 lbs. from $266 to $216 (Class VDG).

• Lowers flat weight tax for non-farm trailers in weight classes ranging from 3,000 lbs. and less ($118 to $43, Class TA) up to 20,000 lbs. and more than 14,000 ($358 to $308, Class TG).

• Applies to trailers registered under Illinois Vehicle Code Sections 3-818 and 3-819 for use on public highways.
