IL HB1903

Allows corporations, limited liability companies, and limited liability partnerships to appear at administrative hearings in counties with populations of 3,000,000 or more through any individual with authority to act on behalf of and bind the entity.

Extends the same representation rights to all home rule municipalities, permitting authorized individuals to appear on behalf of corporations, limited liability companies, or limited liability partnerships at administrative hearings.

Prohibits use of this representation provision in contested property tax proceedings for both county and municipal administrative hearings.

Amends the Counties Code (55 ILCS 5/5-43027) and Illinois Municipal Code (65 ILCS 5/1-2.1-5.5) to establish these representation standards.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
