Department of Human Services and Department of Healthcare and Family Services must develop a standardized data collection format by January 1, 2023

Standardized format covers de-identified aggregate data from member assessment tools, behavioral health provider submissions to the State, and Value Options registration through Beacon Health Options's Provider Connect portal

Development must involve collaboration with behavioral and mental health providers, substance use disorder treatment providers, stakeholder organizations, and entities with expertise in federal requirements and form development

Both departments must comply with the new standardized format within 6 months after its completion

Purpose is to reduce administrative burden on behavioral and mental health providers and allow them to focus resources on member services rather than duplicative data submission requirements
