Discontinues the Chicago South Suburban Mass Transit District effective January 1, 2021

Remaining funds after debt settlement and property sale shall be distributed to municipalities pro rata based on scheduled transportation route miles operated within each municipality, excluding municipalities with District parking lots

All parking lots owned by the District transfer to the municipalities where they are located at no cost, along with any ancillary facilities or equipment used exclusively for parking lot administration or maintenance

Books, records, papers, and documents of the District transfer to the Cook County Clerk, including electronic materials and necessary computer hardware and software unless previously transferred to a municipality

Act takes effect January 1, 2022
