IL HB2446

Removes the provision requiring the State Board of Elections to adjust campaign contribution limits for inflation on January 1 of each odd-numbered year based on the Consumer Price Index.

Maintains existing contribution limits including $5,000 from individuals, $10,000 from corporations/labor organizations/associations, and $50,000 from political action committees to candidate committees.

Preserves contribution limits for political party committees at $10,000 from individuals and $20,000 from corporations, labor organizations, or associations during election cycles.

Keeps inflation adjustment language only for contribution limitations related to dues, levies, or similar assessments delivered through conduits, which shall still be adjusted annually on January 1 of odd-numbered years.
