Director of Insurance must solicit information and data from health insurance carriers regarding coverage for pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders.

Collected data shall include: number of diagnosed cases, recommended treatments, treatment denials, appeals filed by insureds, and appeals granted by carriers.

Director must analyze the information and submit a report by November 15, 2021 to legislative leadership, the Governor, relevant committee chairs, and advisory council members on pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
