Increases the weight limit for second division motor vehicles eligible for veteran with disability license plates from 8,000 pounds to 10,000 pounds.

Applies only to veterans with service-connected disabilities certified by a licensed physician, physician assistant, or advanced practice registered nurse who qualify for disability registration plates under Section 3-616.

Veterans with 50% or more service-connected disability who do not qualify for standard disability plates remain limited to 8,000 pound vehicles under subsection (b).

License plates for qualifying veterans are issued without registration fees and must be renewed with documentation of continued disability eligibility.
