Amends Section 13-310 of the Illinois Pension Code regarding ordinary disability benefits for public employees.

Eligible period for ordinary disability benefit is 25% of employee's total actual service prior to disability, with a cumulative maximum of 5 years.

Benefit amount is 50% of employee's salary at date of disability and terminates when employee returns to work, disability ceases, eligible period is exhausted, or other specified conditions occur.

Employees who first entered service on or after June 13, 1997 become eligible for ordinary disability benefits on the 31st day after last day worked, provided all sick leave is exhausted.

Changes payment frequency requirement from "not more than 30 days" to "at least monthly" for ordinary disability benefit payments.
