Department must regularly review its systems and practices, and implement strategies to protect claim accuracy and prevent identity theft, including adopting two-factor authentication for all online-based claims and benefits portals.

Department must conduct a study comparing its current processes, practices, and systems with those used by other states to protect identity and security of online systems.

Department must report findings to the Governor and General Assembly within 30 days of the bill's effective date, including any deficiencies related to identity theft, fraudulent activity, and data security.
