State Board of Elections shall create a standardized form for election authorities to use when removing voters from registration rolls.

County clerks shall (rather than may) issue certifications of death records from the electronic death registration system established under the Vital Records Act.

County clerks shall (rather than may) use the electronic death registration system to cancel voter registrations for persons who died during the preceding month.

County clerks retain the duty to examine vital records monthly and cancel registrations of deceased voters regardless of whether an electronic death reporting system has been established.
