IL HB2602

Amends the Election Code Section 22-6 to require election authorities to include voting methods information when reporting unit-by-unit vote totals to the State Board of Elections within 22 days after each election.

Election authorities must specify which voting methods were used in their unit-by-unit vote total reports submitted in the electronic format prescribed by the State Board of Elections.

State Board of Elections must promulgate rules necessary to implement these reporting requirements for voting methods data.

Maintains existing requirement that the State Board of Elections publish precinct-by-precinct vote totals on its website within 52 days after each election in downloadable form.
