Illinois State Police shall conduct or approve a training program for state police officers addressing procedures against motorcycle profiling.

"Motorcycle profiling" is defined as the illegal use of a person riding a motorcycle or wearing motorcycle-related paraphernalia as a factor in deciding to stop, question, take enforcement action, arrest, or search a person or vehicle without legal constitutional basis.

Curriculum for probationary police officers at all certified schools must include a course on motorcycle profiling as part of their required training.

All police officers must receive in-service training requirements every 3 years that include constitutional and proper use of law enforcement authority, procedural justice, civil rights, and cultural competency.
