• Warning labels must display a yellow triangle with exclamation mark and include text in both English and Spanish warning about secure storage, child access prevention, Illinois firearm laws, and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number (1-800-273-TALK).

• Requires certified licensees to post conspicuous signs in block letters (at least one inch high) at their business premises with warnings about unlawful firearm storage around children, unauthorized transfers without State Police approval, and 72-hour reporting requirements for lost or stolen firearms.

• Requires certified licensees to post an additional notice at least one inch high within the licensed premises regarding suicide prevention, including the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline contact information.

• Prohibits new firearm retail locations from being established within 500 feet of any school, pre-school, or day care facility in existence at the location before the retail establishment opens.
