IL HB2813

Prohibits state and local government vehicles from displaying nongovernmental license plates.

Requires all local government and subsidiary body vehicles to affix a sticker or decal clearly identifying the government unit on the license plate or within 6 inches of the license plate on the vehicle's rear for visibility from behind.

Exempts vehicles used in undercover police operations from these requirements.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage.
