• Students must complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be eligible for dual credit grants.

• Students deterred by financial considerations from enrolling in dual credit coursework become eligible for MAP assistance under the same criteria as traditional students.

• The Act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
