IL HB2850

Amends Section 33-1 of the Criminal Code of 2012 to expand the crime of bribery to include electors of the President and Vice-President of the United States.

Adds "elector of President and Vice-President of the United States" to all five subsections (a-e) of the bribery statute, placing them alongside existing protected categories of public officers, public employees, jurors, and witnesses.

Prohibits promising, tendering, soliciting, receiving, or retaining property or personal advantages with intent to influence an elector's performance of acts related to their electoral function.

Maintains bribery as a Class 2 felony with existing penalties.
