Amends the Unemployment Insurance Act by adding Section 401.7 to establish an exclusion for volunteer emergency medical services pay.

Department of Employment Security must exclude from consideration any pay received by EMS personnel under temporary employment with a governmental entity when service is performed on a volunteer basis.

The exclusion applies only when EMS workers are serving on a temporary volunteer basis as volunteer emergency medical service workers.

"EMS personnel" is defined using the same meaning given in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Systems Act.

The exclusion affects determination of eligibility for and the amount of benefits under the Unemployment Insurance Act.
