IL HB3130

Amends the Motor Fuel Sales Act to define "motor fuel" as volatile and inflammable liquids suitable for operating motor vehicles, including special fuels as defined in the Motor Fuel Tax Law.

Requires all new motor fuel dispensing units installed at gas stations, service stations, or other businesses selling motor fuel in Illinois starting January 1, 2022 to display operating instructions and warning signs in both English and Spanish either permanently or with customer-selectable language options.

Exempts motor fuel dispensing units installed before January 1, 2022 from the bilingual display requirement.

Directs the Illinois Department of Agriculture to adopt rules for implementing and enforcing the bilingual signage requirement.
