Excludes violations of the new dual-office restriction from the Class 4 felony provisions in the Act, meaning violations would not result in criminal charges or automatic vacation of office.

Maintains existing prohibitions on township supervisors and trustees accepting appointed positions without resignation, with exceptions for volunteer firefighter compensation.

Maintains existing prohibition on township elected officials being employed by the township, with the same volunteer firefighter exception.
