IL HB3288

Amends the Children and Family Services Act to require the Department of Children and Family Services to implement a standardized reimbursement methodology beginning in State Fiscal Year 2023 and annually thereafter when paying community-based agencies for child welfare services.

Mandates that payment reimbursements include adjustments for inflation as measured by the Consumer Price Index for all items less medical care in Midwest urban areas.

Applies the reimbursement methodology to community-based agencies providing residential services, specialized or non-traditional foster care, intact family services, teen parenting services, and traditional foster care.

Makes all calculated payment reimbursements subject to appropriation by the General Assembly.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
