• Creates the Illinois Rental Housing Support Program Funding Allocation Task Force to ensure equitable distribution of rental housing support funds across the state and develop level funding allocations based on 2020 census data.

• Task Force composition includes 16 members appointed by legislative leaders, the Governor, Illinois Housing Development Authority, Illinois Association of Housing Authorities (5 regional members), and Illinois Association of County Clerks and Recorders (5 regional members).

• Members must be appointed within 30 days of the Act's effective date and shall serve without compensation, with the Illinois Housing Development Authority providing staff and administrative support.

• Task Force must meet at least 6 times and submit a report to the General Assembly by March 31, 2022, detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations on funding allocation issues.

• Task Force dissolves and the Act is repealed on March 31, 2023.
