Expands the Illinois Freedom to Work Act to prohibit covenants not to compete for all employees, rather than only low-wage employees.

Removes the earnings threshold definition of "low-wage employee" and replaces it with a broader definition of "employee" as any individual permitted to work by an employer.

Prohibits employers from entering into any covenant not to compete with employees after the bill's effective date, and declares such agreements illegal and void.

Applies to agreements restricting employees from working for another employer for a specified period, in a specified geographical area, or performing similar work.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
