IL HB3621

Amends the Criminal Code of 2012 by extending the statute of limitations for drug-induced homicide prosecutions from 3 years to 10 years after the commission of the offense.

Adds new subsection (o) to Section 3-6 (Extended limitations) to establish the 10-year limitation period for drug-induced homicide cases.

Maintains all existing statute of limitations provisions for other crimes while creating this specific extended timeline for drug-induced homicide prosecutions.
