Repeals the Aquaculture Development Act (20 ILCS 215) and Section 205-60 of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois.

Replaces references to the Aquaculture Development Act throughout Illinois law with a direct definition of "aquatic products" as aquatic plants and animals or their by-products produced, grown, managed, harvested and marketed on an annual, semi-annual, biennial or short term basis in permitted aquaculture facilities.

Updates the Illinois Municipal Code, Illinois Pesticide Act, Agricultural Areas Conservation and Protection Act, County Cooperative Extension Law, Fish and Aquatic Life Code, and Unemployment Insurance Act to incorporate the new aquatic products definition in place of references to the repealed Act.

Maintains existing protections and regulations for aquaculture operations by embedding the definition of aquatic products and aquaculture activities directly into relevant statutes rather than relying on a separate development act.
