IL HB3732

Adds new subsection (b-3) making it a Class A misdemeanor to knowingly and falsely create and use a social networking account or email service account using the official title of a public officer or government agency with intent to deceive.

Requires immediate suspension of violator's activities and termination of the account used for the false personation, in addition to any other penalties.

Amends Section 17-2 of the Criminal Code of 2012 to address false personation offenses involving online accounts and official government titles.

Expands existing false personation laws to cover digital and electronic communications involving government official titles and agencies.
