Defines "cemetery consumer" as the interment, entombment, or inurnment right owner or owners and their heirs under the Cemetery Protection Act.

Establishes that cemetery consumers are responsible for repairing, replacing, or removing dilapidated or unsafe columbariums, niche buildings, mausoleums, or private estates unless the contract provides otherwise.

Allows cemetery authorities to perform repairs, replacements, or removals of unsafe structures when consumers fail to take prompt remedial action, to prevent hazards to the public or to human remains.

Permits cemeteries to temporarily remove and relocate urns or caskets without permits to facilitate repairs or removals, and requires replacement upon completion of work.

Requires cemeteries to notify listed next of kin by email or certified mail when taking remedial action, including description of work, whether remains will be relocated, responsibility for costs, and that actions will be recorded in permanent cemetery records.
