IL HB3877

Prohibits the Department of Children and Family Services from terminating a parent's custody if the parent is a victim of domestic violence or reports being a victim of domestic violence in abuse or neglect cases.

Requires the Department's Office of the Inspector General to concur with any abuse or neglect findings before custodial rights can be terminated.

Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 by adding Section 2-21.2.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage.
