IL HB3939

Amends the Election Code Section 9-8.10 to explicitly permit political committees controlled by officeholders or candidates to use funds for child care expenses for their minor children.

Classifies child care expenses as customary and reasonable expenses of an officeholder in connection with performing governmental and public service functions.

Adds child care expenses to the list of permissible uses of political committee funds alongside other officeholder-related expenses.
