IL HB3951

Amends the Illinois Articulation Initiative Act by adding new requirements for the Board of Higher Education and the Illinois Community College Board to provide increased access to higher education for students with intellectual disabilities.

Requires incorporation of vocational training, continuing education certificates, individualized learning paths, life skills, and significantly modified curricula into the Illinois Articulation Initiative.

Mandates the Board of Higher Education and Illinois Community College Board to provide joint annual reports to the General Assembly, Governor, and Illinois P-20 Council on the status of the Illinois Articulation Initiative and implementation of this Act.

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
