Creates the Task Force on Missing and Murdered Chicago Women to advise state and local law enforcement and report recommendations to reduce violence against Chicago women and girls to the General Assembly.

Task Force composition includes 2 Senate members, 2 House members, law enforcement representatives, prosecutors, judges, medical examiners, 2 victim advocates, and 4+ representatives from legal service organizations, advocacy groups, healthcare providers, and survivors of gender-related violence.

Task Force members serve 2-year terms without compensation but may receive expense reimbursement, must meet at least quarterly, and are subject to the Open Meetings Act.

Task Force must examine systemic causes of violence against Chicago women and girls, data collection methods, government policies affecting violence investigations, and measures to reduce violence and support victims and their families.

Task Force must submit annual reports by December 31 beginning in 2024 to the General Assembly and Governor with recommendations on institutional policies and practices to reduce gender-related violence and increase safety for Chicago women and girls.
