• School districts with 300 or more students must publish by July 15 annually a list of learning materials and activities used for student instruction during the previous school year on their website, organized by grade level and subject area.

• Reports must include title, author, organization name, or internet address for each learning material and activity, plus documentation of procedures for review and approval of instructional materials at each school.

• Learning materials include instructional content in any format (textbooks, digital media, online services, open education resources) and teaching aids used in credit-bearing courses or school-required educational activities.

• School districts may optionally update reports on an ongoing basis during the school year and may use collaborative online document or spreadsheet software with public links on the district website.

• The State Board of Education must notify school districts by May 1 annually whether they meet the 300-student threshold requiring compliance; effective date is July 1, 2022.
