• Makes the First Responders Suicide Task Force permanent instead of dissolving it after issuing a final report in 2020.

• Requires the Task Force to issue annual reports to the General Assembly on or before December 31 each year rather than issuing a single final report.

• Task Force maintains its composition of 22 members including state officials, legislators, mental health and first responder organization representatives.

• Members appointed within 30 days of the effective date and begin meetings within 30 days of all appointments; Department of State Police provides administrative support.

• Takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
