Requires health insurance plans (group, individual, and managed care) amended, delivered, issued, or renewed on or after January 1, 2024 to provide coverage for medically necessary breast reduction surgery.

Adds Section 356z.53 to the Illinois Insurance Code establishing the breast reduction surgery coverage requirement.

Updates health benefit requirements for state employees, counties, municipalities, and school districts to include coverage for breast reduction surgery.

Removes reference to Section 356z.43 and adds references to Sections 356z.45, 356z.46, 356z.47, 356z.48, 356z.51, and 356z.53 across multiple insurance-related codes and acts.

Applies breast reduction surgery coverage requirements to Health Maintenance Organizations, Limited Health Service Organizations, and Voluntary Health Services Plans.
