Amends the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/2) to expand the definition of "public works" to include construction projects in designated redevelopment project areas under the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act.

Expands the definition of "public works" to include construction projects in River Edge Redevelopment Zones as defined in the River Edge Redevelopment Zone Act.

Requires prevailing wage standards to apply to workers employed on these redevelopment construction projects, making them subject to the same wage requirements as other public works projects.
