Expands the expressway camera program from Cook County to 21 additional counties including Boone, Bureau, Champaign, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Henry, Kane, Kendall, Lake, LaSalle, Macon, Madison, McHenry, Morgan, Peoria, Rock Island, Sangamon, St. Clair, Will, and Winnebago.

Extends camera program to State highway system in addition to expressways under the jurisdiction of the Illinois Department of Transportation and Illinois State Toll Highway Authority.

Camera images may be used by law enforcement to investigate firearm-related offenses and detect expressway hazards, but cannot be used to enforce petty offenses.

Funding for the program comes from the Road Fund for Department of Transportation expressways and State highways, and from Illinois State Toll Highway Authority funds for tollway expressways.

Delays the repeal date of the Expressway Camera Act from July 1, 2023 to July 1, 2025, extending the program's authorization by two years.
