Adds "suspicious death" of eligible adults as reportable matter under Adult Protective Services Act, requiring mandated reporters to report deaths that may result from abuse or neglect to designated agencies or Department on Aging.

Expands definition of "mandated reporter" to include investment advisors and insurance adjusters (when knowingly inside an eligible adult's home) who must report suspected abuse or financial exploitation.

Adds "insurance adjuster" and "investment advisor" as new defined terms and clarifies that mandated reporters are not required to expand or perform services differently under the Act.

Excludes from abuse definition criminal activity by strangers, telemarketing scams, consumer fraud, internet fraud, home repair disputes, and landlord-tenant complaints.

Extends confidentiality protections and reporting requirements to cover suspicious deaths of eligible adults, including specific provisions for coroner and medical examiner involvement and law enforcement referrals.
