First offense of aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer is elevated from a Class 4 felony to a Class 2 felony.

Second or subsequent offense of aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer is elevated from a Class 3 felony to a Class 1 felony.

Aggravated fleeing includes flight or evasion at 21+ miles per hour over the speed limit, causing bodily injury, causing property damage exceeding $300, disobeying 2+ traffic control devices, or concealing/altering vehicle registration plates.

Secretary of State must revoke driver's license upon conviction of either first or subsequent offense.

Motor vehicles used in violations are subject to seizure and forfeiture.
