• Amends the Illinois Insurance Code to regulate original equipment manufacturer (OEM) repair specifications for aftermarket crash parts and automobile glass.

• Prohibits insurers from requiring repair specifications for aftermarket crash parts or automobile glass that do not meet or exceed OEM specifications, including advanced driver assistance system calibration requirements.

• Allows use of non-OEM repair parts if they are identified and disclosed to the customer, and prohibits specifications that unreasonably restrict access to repair facilities.

• Requires aftermarket crash parts to have the manufacturer's logo or name affixed or inscribed and visible after installation whenever practicable.

• Requires insurers to provide written notice to customers when non-OEM aftermarket crash parts are proposed, including a detailed estimate and standardized disclosure statement about warranties.
