IL HB4833

Amends the Unified Code of Corrections (730 ILCS 5/5-5-3) to prohibit probation, periodic imprisonment, or conditional discharge for any felony offense requiring registration under the Sex Offender Registration Act.

Adds a new category (FF) to the list of offenses for which probation and conditional discharge are prohibited, requiring mandatory imprisonment sentences instead.

Applies to all sex offenses classified as requiring sex offender registration, with no exceptions for first-time or lower-level sex offenses.
