Foreign nationals prohibited from making direct or indirect contributions to ballot initiative committees or independent expenditure committees for influencing public policy questions submitted to voters.

Ballot initiative committees and independent expenditure committees prohibited from knowingly soliciting or accepting contributions from foreign nationals for purposes of influencing public policy questions.

Foreign nationals prohibited from making independent expenditures to influence any question of public policy submitted to voters.

"Foreign national" defined as a foreign national under 52 U.S.C. 30121(b) and entities where foreign nationals hold, own, or control 50% or more of total equity, voting shares, or membership units.

Act takes effect immediately upon becoming law.
