IL HB4957

Amends the Gender Violence Act (740 ILCS 82/5) to expand the definition of "gender-related violence" to include non-consensual condom removal.

Adds two new categories of conduct: contact between a sexual organ from which a condom has been removed and another's intimate part without verbal consent to removal, and contact between an intimate part and another's sexual organ from which a condom was removed without verbal consent.

Expands the definition of threats under the Act to include threats of the newly defined condom-removal conduct.

Gender-related violence continues to be classified as a form of sex discrimination under Illinois law.
