Removes the Nurse Practice Act from the list of acts scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2023, allowing it to continue indefinitely.

Converts the Licensed Medication Aide Pilot Program into a permanent Medication Aide Program by removing the 3-year time limit and the restriction that only 10 skilled nursing homes could participate.

Removes the requirement that qualified facilities must have a Five Star Quality Rating of 3, 4, or 5 from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Changes references from the Department of Public Health to the Department of Healthcare and Family Services and changes facility types from "skilled nursing facility" to "supportive living facility."

Extends the Department's deadline for submitting a report on patient safety, efficiency, and errors to the General Assembly from 6 months to one year after implementation of this amendatory act, and allows licenses to be renewed or restored (removing the previous prohibition).
