Amends the Home Inspector License Act to add a new exemption from home inspector licensing requirements for individuals holding professional degrees from programs accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board or the Canadian Architectural Certification Board

Existing exemptions from licensing remain in place for state/local code enforcement officials acting within their scope of employment, persons licensed under other Illinois laws acting within their license scope, and contractors preparing bids for home construction/remodeling/repair work

Unlicensed home inspection remains a Class A misdemeanor for first offense and Class 4 felony for subsequent offenses

The Home Inspector License Act is scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2027
