Vote by mail ballot collection sites may only be established on grounds of public buildings where local government business is conducted, and buildings cannot have a residential component

All ballot collection sites must be recorded by security cameras, with election authorities required to retain footage for 90 days after each election

Security camera recordings from collection sites are designated as public records under the Freedom of Information Act, available for inspection and copying during the 90-day retention period

Collection sites must remain secured by locks that only election authority personnel can open

Takes effect immediately upon becoming law
