• Creates the Occupational Health and Safety Act Violation Reporting Procedures Awareness Task Force within the Department of Labor to increase worker awareness and accessibility to assistance in identifying and correcting workplace violations.

• Task Force membership includes one representative each from House Speaker and Minority Leader, one Senator each from Senate President and Minority Leader, one Department of Labor representative, three trade union representatives, and one workplace safety enforcement specialist, all appointed by the Governor or legislative leaders.

• Members serve without compensation but may be reimbursed for expenses incurred in performing their duties.

• Task Force meets quarterly and must submit reports to the Department and General Assembly after every 2 meetings with recommendations on improving worker accessibility to violation assistance and complementary proposals or policies.

• The Task Force provision automatically expires 2 years after the bill becomes law, which takes effect immediately upon enactment.
