Increases filing fees under the Environmental Protection Act from $75 to $250 for six types of petitions: site-specific regulation, variance, permit review, local government decision contest, adjusted standard, and time-limited water quality standard.

Filing fees are collected by the Pollution Control Board and deposited into the Pollution Control Board Fund.

Persons who filed a variance petition for a water quality standard and paid the $250 filing fee are exempt from paying an additional filing fee if their petition is converted into a petition for a time-limited water quality standard.
