Creates the Task Force on Internationally-Licensed Health Care Professionals within the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to remove barriers to licensure and practice for foreign-trained health care professionals.

Task Force comprises 11 members including the Secretary and Director of Professional Regulation, legislative leaders, the Chief Medical Coordinator, Nursing Coordinator, and representatives from organizations serving immigrant health professionals.

Task Force shall meet bimonthly indefinitely until voting to dissolve itself, with the Secretary of Financial and Professional Regulation serving as chair and the Department providing administrative support.

Task Force shall prepare annual reports addressing barriers to licensure and practice for internationally-licensed health care professionals and recommend strategies to reduce those barriers, with the first report due one year after the initial meeting.

Focuses on health care professionals (physicians, nurses, and others) already licensed and practicing in another country seeking licensure in Illinois, excluding students.
