Amends the Code of Civil Procedure Section 2-204 to allow private corporations to be served by electronic service as determined by rule, in addition to existing methods of service.

Adds new subsection (a-5) to the Business Corporation Act of 1983 Section 5.25 permitting electronic service of process, notices, and demands on domestic and foreign corporations authorized to conduct business in Illinois, as determined by rule.

Maintains all existing service methods for corporations, including service on registered agents, officers, the Secretary of State, and service by publication and mail.

Applies electronic service provisions to situations where corporations lack a registered agent, cannot be located, have been dissolved, or have had their authority to transact business revoked or withdrawn.
