Changes the name of the offense "unlawful use of weapons" to "unlawful possession of weapons" throughout the Criminal Code of 2012 (Section 24-1 and related sections).

Makes conforming name changes to related offenses including aggravated unlawful possession of weapons, unlawful possession of weapons by felons, and unlawful possession of firearm projectiles.

Renames "unlawful use of a firearm in the shape of a wireless telephone" to "unlawful possession of a firearm in the shape of a wireless telephone."

Makes corresponding changes to Section 24-1.7 (armed habitual criminal) to reflect the new terminology for weapons offenses.

Does not substantively change the penalties, elements of the offenses, or exemptions—only updates the statutory language from "use" to "possession."
