Creates the Health Care Providers Identification Act requiring all health care providers to wear visible identification while treating patients.

Identification must display the provider's name, licensed degree, and specific specialty of the license, without general specialty descriptions.

Applies to individuals licensed under the Medical Practice Act of 1987, Nurse Practice Act, Illinois Optometric Practice Act of 1987, Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987, and Podiatric Medical Practice Act of 1987.

Violations must be reported to the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, which may impose disciplinary action under the appropriate licensing act if deemed necessary.
